I have some tips on how to make your laptop as fast as possible -

Replace the Hard drive or Optical Drive with SSD:
SSD is still incredibly expensive to use as a total storage replacement for hard drives, the solution being to keep your current laptop hard drive, take out the optical drive and replace it with SSD to use as the boot drive as well as the drive to store your critial computer programs on. Thats why you only need a 60GB or 80GB SSD. Even a 40GB SSD would work fine if you dont use a lot of programs.
